I’m sorry we missed you. I was waiting on your schedule. Unfortunately, most of the kids are away visiting family. It was something that we had to get used to over the last couple years–dropping children home on the street corner and the like. But, family connectedness is a very integral part of their development. And, in fact the children would be very depressed if they were not able to stay connected to their families. Two of the boys will be returning by Friday night and the rest on the 2nd or 3rd. I understand tomorrow is your last day. You will be happy to know that all of the children but two have improved their grades semester over semester. And, for a few, dramatic changes have occurred in their lives. Overall, each have a greater chance at a better future and are provided a stable, loving family atmosphere and godly parenting models. Feel free to stay in touch. I understand you will be looking for a list from us of needs. God bless you in all you do.

  2. Good Morning Lisay,
I arrived in Cebu, Philippines….I have a few meetings to attend…and would love to come by and say hello…Let’s try to set a time and day.
Can you give me the address so I can set up my schedule?
Is there anything I could bring for the children?

    • Dalisay Dwinells says:

      Dear Dr. Frank,

We are located in Maderazo Compound in the Barangay of Mohon, Talisay City, Cebu. There is not street address. We are off Pooc from the highway or South Road, before Pooc. There is a sign for Mohon elementary, a water station within a small strip Mall, along with a pharmacy. At that corner if you turn left you will continue onto the elementary school. You will need to right there at the corner where the water station is. It is a cement road. Continue down the narrow cement road until just before it becomes a dirt road. We are on the right. The first house.

      God bless,

Lisay Dwinells Street Kids Philippine Missions

Thank~You for getting back to me Lisay.
I’m going to be in Cebu from Dec. 6 – Dec. 27.
I’ll be staying in Cebu City at the Marriott.
I’ll definitely have internet access while there so e-mail contact for right now would be best.
I’m not sure how the cell phone will work right at this moment, but I’m sure we’ll figure it out once I’m there.
I love what I do and I’m looking forward to speaking with you and the children.

  4. Hi Lee & Matt, I think you’re doing amazing work with the children. My name is Dr. Frank Hahn and I went to High School with your son Ernie at Central Regional in Bayville, NJ. We were in the same class. I recently was speaking to Ernie and he informed me about your mission. I will be visiting Cebu during the month of Dec and performing quite a bit of Chiropractic Mission work. I’ll be checking families spines for misaligned spinal bones, speaking at a college about a career in chiropractic and producing a few videos for a couple organizations. Our International Organization IFCO, Sherman College of Chiropractic, Garden State Chiropractic Society.
I have a wonderful family practice in New Jersey, it would be an honor & a blessing if I could assist your mission. I can encourage the children, educate, check & adjust their spines if you and they would like me too.
If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me:
    Be Well,
    Dr. Frank Hahn
PS~ I do a lot of volunteer work and I’ll be glad to share more with you.
I’m looking forward to working with you.
